At Libby's Realty, we live here, we work here, we know our market! Originally owned by a former Marine, Libby's Realty traces its history in the 29 Palms area to 1972. Barbara Dunn, began her real estate career in 1978, and acquired the office in 1988. Recently, the company has been purchased by Reggie McAtee.

Reggie McAtee started his career in Real Estate after 10 years in Retail Grocery as an Assistant Manager. Throughout his retail career and over two decades in real estate, Reggie has learned the value of operating with the highest ethical standards. These standards combined with his strong business acumen and the result is a straight forward approach to real estate and property management. Today, Reggie is leading Libby's Realty into a new era of technology combined with superior customer service to streamline the process for all involved. Reggie is a foster parent of four and enjoys reading and staying connected with politics.

Reggie started his Real Estate Career in June 2005. Since that time he has been a Top Producing Salesperson. Key to his success has been his strong work ethic, a positive approach to often difficult situations, and always having strong ethics and integrity. In June 2019 Reggie became a Real Estate Broker.

Reggie joined the team at Libby’s Realty in August 2015. Working with the Owner/ Broker at that time, Barbara Dunn, was a really good fit. Together, Reggie and Barbara became Top Producers in the area. Whether it is a cabin or a compound, they have sold it all. In July of 2021, Reggie took over as the owner/Broker of Libby’s Realty. Barbara has continued to sell real estate as a Broker/Associate and maintains the connection to the Business she pioneered for over 30 years. Reggie grew up in rural Georgia. There he excelled in school and graduated in the top 5% of his class. After a few years of College, Reggie relocated to California in 1987. He lived in various places in the State until finding his true home in the High Desert in 1994. He has owned homes in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, and 29 Palms. Currently, he also enjoys a little cabin in Big Bear. The hands-on experience of buying and selling homes is part of the information he enjoys sharing with others. Almost everyone struggles with escrow paperwork. Reggie is always willing to help guide his clients through the maze of documents. In his spare time, Reggie is a proud adoptive parent to 4 children. He enjoys following politics and reading to pass time.
